Research

I have decided I am using the perfume shop website as my template for the type of thing I'm doing. I am doing a perfume advert and a photo of the actual perfume, then also some where they are combined.

Project Plan

Project Plan
My intentions are to make a perfume advert type thing. It if going to be based on fantasies and fairy tales. There is going to be lots of sparkly dresses involved and also different perfume bottles. I intend to get my first shoot done by the 11th of december and the other two done before the Finnish date but I have not yet clarified dates. Each shoot will last at least 30 minutes and the most a 1 and a half. I will be using a beauty dish and two soft boxes for all the shoots to ensure the background is lit and the beauty dish is focused on the models face and when it is on the object the beauty dish will be focused on the object. I will need my camera, computer and the lights. I don't have a budget as the models don't want anything out of it. But as I am using music students and preforming arts students I'm going to offer to do head shots for them. Im going to get two people out of my class to help me with the lighting and in return I'm helping them with theres.

Risk assessment
  • Make sure things are put away properly and neatly
  • No food or drink in the studio
  • Make sure there isn't lots of people in the studio because there in more risk of a accident and the studio gets very warm
  • Make sure all the lights are turned off
  • Make sure the wires aren't loose because that would be a tripping hazard
  • Never leave the studio unattended
  • The flashlights become incredibly hot and could cause severe burns. They should never be handled.
  • The lights get very hot so be careful whilst handling them
  • Make sure everyone in the room is okay with flashing lights
